Producticity for Todoist
Complete a task in Todoist and it lands in your city as XP, sized by its priority and labels. Nothing to log twice, and nothing changes in Todoist unless you ask it to.
Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused.

What earns XP
- Task completedAny task you complete, from any project.+20 XP
- Quick taskA task with your Quick label: “quick” unless you choose another.+10 XP
- Big taskPriority 1, or priorities 1 and 2 if you choose.+40 XP
- Quest“Close 2 Todoist tasks” can be one of the day's 3 quests once Todoist is connected.+40 XP
Synced work shares a cap of 400 XP a day with your other tools, AI apps and automations, and doesn't build combos. Only what you finish from the day you connect counts, and each task earns once (a recurring one, once per occurrence). Reopen something in Todoist within 24 hours and its XP goes back; after that, nothing is ever taken away.
Connect Todoist
- Open Producticity, go to Supply Lines and choose Connect Todoist. (Signing up? Todoist is the suggested Supply Line on that step.)
- Sign in to Todoist and allow Producticity to read your tasks.
- Back in Supply Lines, check the two settings: “Label that means Quick” and “Priorities that mean Big”.
- Complete a task in Todoist. Todoist tells us straight away, and a check every 15 minutes catches anything missed.
- Optional: turn on “Also mark tasks done in Todoist when you tick them here”. Todoist asks you to allow write access first.

What it reads, and what it doesn't
Reads
- Tasks due today or overdue, and the tasks you complete: title, priority, labels, due date and project.
- Task titles are kept for your activity feed and deleted 90 days after you finish the task.
- Labels are used for sizing and stored only as coded keys, never as words.
Never
- Change anything in Todoist, unless you turn on marking tasks done there
- Count tasks you finished before the day you connected
- Show your tasks to Neighbours or teams (they see your city and XP, not your work)
Your Todoist token is stored encrypted. Disconnect any time in Supply Lines: the token is revoked, open tasks leave Today, and everything Todoist built stays. More in the privacy notice.
Questions
- Is the Todoist integration read-only?
- Yes, unless you change it. It asks for Todoist's read-only access (data:read). If you turn on marking tasks done in Todoist, Todoist asks you to allow read and write access, and Producticity then only closes or reopens the tasks you tick in Producticity.
- Do recurring tasks count?
- Yes. Each occurrence you complete earns once.
- Do overdue or rescheduled tasks cost XP?
- No. Producticity never takes XP away for a task that's late, moved or left undone. The only XP that ever goes back is from a task you reopen within 24 hours, so a mis-tap doesn't count.
- How does it decide a task's size?
- A task with your Quick label builds Quick (10 XP), priority 1 builds Big (40 XP), and everything else is Normal (20 XP). You can rename the label and make priority 2 count as Big too.
- Is it included in the free tier?
- Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused, and everything they built stays; tasks, habits and Build Blocks in the app keep working.
More ways to build
- Notion integrationRows in a database you pick, when their done checkbox or status flips to done.
- Linear integrationIssues assigned to you that move to a completed state. Size comes from the estimate.
- How it worksFrom finished work to XP, floors, buildings and a city, with the real numbers.
