Producticity for Linear

Issues assigned to you that move to a completed state land in your city as XP, sized by their estimate. Ship in Linear, build here.

Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused.

In Linear: Issue moved to Done, estimate 5. It arrives as 40 XP, and Your building rises.

What earns XP

  • Issue completedAn issue assigned to you that moves to a completed state, with no estimate or one in the middle.+20 XP
  • Small estimateAn estimate of 1 or less builds Quick. You can change the threshold.+10 XP
  • Large estimateAn estimate of 5 or more builds Big. You can change it too.+40 XP

Synced work shares a cap of 400 XP a day with your other tools, AI apps and automations, and doesn't build combos. Only what you finish from the day you connect counts, and each task earns once (a recurring one, once per occurrence). Reopen something in Linear within 24 hours and its XP goes back; after that, nothing is ever taken away. Canceled and duplicate issues earn nothing; they just leave Today.

Connect Linear

  1. Open Producticity, go to Supply Lines and choose Connect Linear.
  2. Sign in to Linear and authorise Producticity for your workspace.
  3. Back in Supply Lines, check “Estimates up to this are Quick” and “Estimates from this are Big”.
  4. Move an issue assigned to you to Done. Linear tells us straight away, and a check every 15 minutes catches anything missed.
  5. Optional: turn on “Also mark issues done in Linear when you tick them here”. Linear asks you to allow write access first.

What it reads, and what it doesn't

Reads

  • Issues assigned to you: title, state, estimate, team and identifier (like ENG-12).
  • Task titles are kept for your activity feed and deleted 90 days after you finish the task.

Never

  • Change anything in Linear, unless you turn on marking issues done there
  • Count issues assigned to someone else
  • Show your tasks to Neighbours or teams (they see your city and XP, not your work)

Your Linear token is stored encrypted. Disconnect any time in Supply Lines: the token is revoked, open issues leave Today, and everything Linear built stays. More in the privacy notice.

Questions

Is the Linear integration read-only?
Yes, unless you change it: it asks for read access. If you turn on marking issues done, Linear asks you to allow write access, and Producticity then moves an issue you tick here to your team's first completed state (or back to its first unstarted state if you untick it).
Do issues assigned to my teammates count?
No. Only issues assigned to you count, and an issue reassigned to someone else leaves your Today list.
Does a canceled issue earn anything?
No. Canceled and duplicate issues leave Today without XP, and nothing is taken away.
Is it included in the free tier?
Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused, and everything they built stays; tasks, habits and Build Blocks in the app keep working.
