Producticity for GitHub
Pull requests you open that get merged, and issues assigned to you that are closed as completed, land in your city as XP. Read-only, and a quiet week costs nothing.
Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused.

What earns XP
- Pull request mergedA pull request you opened, once it's merged.+20 XP
- Issue completedAn issue assigned to you, closed as completed.+20 XP
GitHub has no task size, so everything counts as Normal. An issue closed as not planned earns nothing. Synced work shares a cap of 400 XP a day with your other tools, AI apps and automations, and doesn't build combos. Only what you finish from the day you connect counts, and each task earns once (a recurring one, once per occurrence). Reopen something in GitHub within 24 hours and its XP goes back; after that, nothing is ever taken away.
Connect GitHub
- Open Producticity, go to Supply Lines and choose Connect GitHub.
- GitHub asks where to install the Producticity app: choose your account or organisation, then all repositories or only the ones you pick.
- Approve the authorisation. You're back in Supply Lines with GitHub connected.
- Merge a pull request you opened. GitHub tells us straight away, and a check every 15 minutes catches anything missed.
What it reads, and what it doesn't
Reads
- Pull requests you opened and issues assigned to you, in the repositories you chose: title, state, repository and number.
- Task titles are kept for your activity feed and deleted 90 days after you finish the task.
Never
- Read your code: it asks only for read access to pull requests, issues and repository metadata
- Write to GitHub: it never asks for write access
- Read repositories you didn't install it on
Your GitHub token is stored encrypted and expires every few hours (GitHub renews it). Disconnect any time in Supply Lines, or uninstall the app in GitHub's settings; everything GitHub built stays. More in the privacy notice.
Questions
- Does it read my code?
- No. The GitHub app asks for read-only access to pull requests, issues and repository metadata, and nothing else.
- Can I choose which repositories it sees?
- Yes. GitHub's install screen lets you pick all repositories or only some, and you can change the list later in GitHub's settings.
- What if I don't ship anything for a week?
- Nothing happens. Producticity never takes XP away and buildings never decay, so a quiet week costs nothing. Rain Days cover missed days on their own.
- Do private repositories work?
- Yes, if you install the app on them. The same read-only access applies.
- Is it included in the free tier?
- Supply Lines are part of full access (a Founder's Pass). On the free Settler tier they're paused, and everything they built stays; tasks, habits and Build Blocks in the app keep working.
More ways to build
- Linear integrationIssues assigned to you that move to a completed state. Size comes from the estimate.
- Notion integrationRows in a database you pick, when their done checkbox or status flips to done.
- How it worksFrom finished work to XP, floors, buildings and a city, with the real numbers.
